At the Biel Hospital Center, the flowers are delivered to the delivery location specified by the hospital, where they are then brought directly to the patient's room by the hospital staff to surprise the patient.
Every hospital delivery receives express delivery from us at no additional cost. The flowers are also packaged to suit the external conditions and are provided with a so-called fresh bag, which ensures the water supply during the journey.
Express delivery to hospitals usually takes place between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

History of the Biel Hospital Center
1415 The city of Biel builds the first hospital on Schmiedengasse (Kanalgasse 1). This is made possible by a generous donation from the couple Heinrich and Anna Färber from Friborg. The hospital is a charitable facility for the city's sick, old and needy people.
1751 The hospital moves into the former St. John's monastery (today the Dufour-Ost schoolhouse), which is expanded for this purpose.
1818 The hospital had to give way to the newly founded high school. It will be relocated to the former Thellunghaus at Untergasse 45.
1837 The canton sets up an emergency room in the hospital for the offices of Biel, Nidau, Büren and Courtelary. Only cases “in which the life of the person affected is more or less threatened” are included here, as it was said.
1866 The new community hospital opens in what is now the Center Pasquart art house. In 1909 the community hospital became a district hospital.
1936 Opening of the “Vogelsang Hospital”. Some departments are moving to Beaumont, others are staying in Pasquart for the time being.
1945 Founding of our own nursing school (closed in 2011 after several conversions).
1953 closure of the Pasquart Hospital; All departments are located in Vogelsang Hospital.
1956 The hospital is renamed the regional hospital.
1978 Opening of an extension with an emergency and intensive care unit, geriatrics department, physical therapy and school center.
1999 The Biel Regional Hospital and the Wildermeth Children's Hospital merge under the new name "Biel Hospital Center".
2002 Spitalzentrum Biel AG was founded
2007 Dissolution of the hospital association
2008 Re-opening of the Wildermeth children's clinic in Vogelsang
2015 anniversary “600 years of Biel Hospital”.
